![]() Your starting location in the game will be picked at random from the games huge map. Wasteland… But this is a Kenshi review not waste…. What do you do next? Well that’s up to you. You are capable of creating some freaking monster through the character editor and set off on your way in the world. You pick will decide how difficult the start of the game will be and where you will begin. You begin by picking from one of a few different starting scenarios. I love the game and it was about time I made my own Kenshi review. it gives you plenty of freedoms of which factions you want to join, who you want to be, and essentially what you want to accomplish. It is a true sandbox experience of you running through the desert truly going your own way. Kenshi dabbles across a few genres Base building, survival, RPG, but doesn’t ever seem to lose sight of what it is that makes it beautiful. It isn’t a particularly beautiful game, It doesn’t have anything amazing in the way of a story but somehow it just works. Kenshi has fantastic reviews all across the board. Kenshi has this strange way making you enjoy a very painful experience and also teaches you some important life lessons. You may even have to sell the shoes off your feet just to grab a block of nutritious food. You will be beaten to a bloody pulp and have to scratch together some means of money to eat before you starve. This isn’t a game where you will run and gun through the lands, completing quests and saving lives. It will have you wondering, ‘am I really having a good time here watching myself get constantly beaten half to death and be captured by slavers?’ And the answer is yes. Kenshi will have you, at times questioning why in fact you are still playing the game. You are simply thrown into this wasteland to figure your way out. You won’t be given a few hours of tutorial on how to move and buy items and eat. No person in this world will hold your hand. Kenshi is a game in which you will find yourself in a constant uphill struggle. Game Release Date: December 6th, 2018 (Previously Early Access) Crawl limbless through the desert and have fun doing it But there has been a long time since I played a game and felt truly like I was in a new experience in video games. Sure, there are a lot of genres and sub-genres of games out there. I think part of the reason i find myself struggling to stay is the lack of new experiences. These days, I find myself jumping from game to game, not being able to really get stuck in to a game or new world. The game officially was released in December, 2018. The game has seen years of early access on Steams early access program. This Kenshi review is from someone with hundreds of hours over multiple years. ![]() At any rate, it is one of the best games I've ever played.Kenshi is a single player cRPG game developed and published by Lo-Fi Games. The graphics are definitely outdated, though they are more than enough to convey the atmosphere of a bleak and desolate World. Though there are fixes and workarounds to most of those, it can break the immersion and be a nuisance. The only reason I'm not giving this a 10 is because the game stll has performance issues and bugs. And should you feel the game finally gets stale, there are a lot of mods that can completely change the experience if you want. Getting from that point to building an army capable of challenging the ruling factions is one of he most rewarding processes in any game I've ever played. You are just a chump and basically everything can kill you. Like the game says you are not special, you are not the chosen one. In a huge world where you can basically do anything you want. In a huge world where you can basically do anything What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - the game. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - the game. I give this flawless diamond a perfect 10 without a second thought. for those with any doubts about Kenshi, just try it. Hunt and some people are already working on Kenshi 2. Very unforgiving, but that's what makes the game great. CONS Random freezing when exiting through main menu. ![]() You can easily dump 1000 + hrs into this. Huge world, with full weather, day/night cycle and storms. And then, it went on sale, and I nabbed it. As many games, I had this on my wish list for a while. As many games, I had this on my wish list Kenshi by Lo-Fi Games took 12 years to make, and most of it was done by just one man, Chris Hunt.
